She looks like a Greek goddess, has fascinating fingers – tiny but long with squared-off tips going down like mini-pistons – and plays with unusual poise and elegance. Her cross string work in the opening and closing allegros was gracefully incisive, her double stopping immaculate and her rendering of the rousing final bars packed excitement in spades.
